As one of the steps in the Anglo-Canadian province's Planning Process, the decision was made to withdraw from St. Joan of Arc parish and return the care of it to the Archdiocese of Toronto as of June 30, 1998. For 35 years, many, many scjs have faithfully ministered in and made St. Joan of Arc their home. These have included: Peter Renders, George Coppens, Peter Botman, Herman Falke and Jim Casper, who have served as pastors; and Julians Purbowahyono, Herru Atmaja, Teja Anthara (all members of the Indonesian Province), Marion Quagliariello, Wayne Jenkins, Tim Gray, Jim Cunniffe, Guy Blair (members of the US Province) who were associate pastors.

Perhaps it is in hindsigth, or perhaps it was with foresight, that the scj presence at St. Joan of Arc Parish is a concrete, lived experience of We the Congregation: In Service of Mission. We hope that, in the words of Father Virginio Bressanelli, scj, taken from the letter Frontiers of Love, March 14, 1996, ....this moment is truly a time of grace, one that will allow us to stoop down to the wounds that inflict people today and minister with reparation spirituality and in the dehonian style.

Français  La paroisse St. Joan of Arc, Toronto, Canada

Dans le processus de planification de la province Canadienne-anglaise, il a été décidé de se retirer de la paroisse St. Joan of Arc, et de la remettre à l'Archidiocèse de Toronto à compter du 30 juin 1998. Pendant 35 ans, de très nombreux SCJs y ont fidèlement exercé leur ministère, et ont fait de St. Joan of Arc leur demeure. Parmi ceux-ci: Peter Renders, George Coppens, Peter Botman, Herman Falke et Jim Casper, qui ont été curés; également Julians Purbowahyono, Herru Atmaja, Teja Anthara (tous de la province Indonésienne), Marion Quagliariello, Wayne Jenkins, Tim Gray, Jim Cunniffe, Guy Blair (membres de la province US) qui ont été vicaires.
 
On peut dire après-coup, ou peut-être étais-ce déjà une intuition, que la présence scj à la paroisse St. Joan of Arc a été une expérience concrète du Nous, la Congrégation: au service de la Mission. En empruntant les mots du P. Virginio Bressanelli, scj, dans sa lettre Aux Frontières de l'Amour du 14 mars 1996, nous espérons que... nous sommes à un moment de grâce qui nous permet de nous pencher sur quelque plaie de l'homme d'aujourd'hui, avec la mystique de la réparation et selon un style dehonien.
