This week one of the two novices for the Franco European Province, Joseph Nguyen, originally from Vietnam, tells his vocation story.
CongratulationsTo Massimo Staiano (IM) who will be ordained to the priesthood on April 30, 2000, by Archbishop Felice Cece of Sorrento-Gastellammare di Stabia in Saint Gerado Maxiella Church at San Antonio Abate (NA).

Fr. General, with the consent of his council, has confirmed the election of the provincial superior and his council for the Dutch Province (NE). Their mandate will take effect on August 1, 2000.

Catholicism has made tremendous progress in North America. In noting this fact, it should be recognized that Catholicism has not been hurt by science and progress, neither of which is in short supply in the United States. What has been dying is corrupt European society, and unless God infuses it (87) with new life, the day is not far off when the New World with its vitality and immense resources will be the most beautiful and precious gem in the Catholic Church.In the next two weeks excerpts from Dehon in Canada and America, Fr.
